How to Recognize and Prevent Sexual Harassment - WTD013

Intended audience: All new faculty and staff; any K-State employee who has not previously attended a session on sexual harassment.

The session's purpose is to increase awareness of issues related to sexual harassment and to inform participants of university policy regarding sexual harassment.

Overview
After attending this session, you will be better able to...

  • Recognize why sexual harassment is a form of discrimination;
  • Identify quid pro quo and hostile environment sexual harassment;
  • Confront harassment to make it stop; and
  • Follow university procedures for reporting sexual harassment.

Supervisors are urged to enroll new employees who may not be familiar with K-State's policy, including those who have transferred from other state agencies.
