Interpersonal
Communications Skills Workshop
Intended Audience: Any K-State employee with
leadership responsibilities.
This
interactive workshop consists of three, half-day modules:
MODULE
1: Powerful Listening
Listening is the foundation of interpersonal communication. By transforming
how you listen to others, you can improve both personal and professional
relationships. Attain powerful listening as a basis for connection and
mutuality.
MODULE 2: Interpersonal Influence
Building on the foundation established in Module 1, acquire tools for
authenticity, self-confidence, and influence. Practice these skills
in a safe, supportive environment.
MODULE 3: Communication and Conflict Management
Conflict exists in every facet of university life. How you manage it
can impact your professional image and your career. Learn how to respond
to verbal attack and how to deal with fallacies. Develop the interpersonal
skills to connect with people and to establish mutual commitments that
get results.
Build on the skills you acquire in this series: listening,
influencing and managing conflict. Improved interpersonal relationships
will be the rewarding culmination of those efforts.
