The Office of Affirmative Action offers an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for supervisors, directors, deans and department heads. The workshop includes a formal presentation, small group discussion and hands-on activities.

Topics covered:

  • Employer/employee responsibilities;
  • Reasonable accommodation;
  • Discrimination;
  • Fair employment practices; and
  • University policy concerning the ADA.
