OVERVIEW
This workshop provides ideas and techniques that you can use to encourage improvement. Special attention is paid to working effectively with the most challenging employees, enabling them to learn and change beahviors that do not contribute to the university's success.

LEARNING POINTS

Following this session, you will be better able to:

- apply the classified disciplinary action procedures for conduct/behavior issues;

- use the classified performacne review system to deal with performance issues;

- conduct the necessary feedback conversations with employees;

- and also discussed will be the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), the substance abuse and workplace violence policies, and how each may be appropriately used to address work-related problems.
