The Institute for Student Learning Assessment Diversity Summit partners with the 10th annual Diversity Summit to focus on Assessing Diversity Outcomes to Advance Inclusive Excellence.

The conference provides an opportunity for college and university educators to share research and assessment practice that supports understandings of diversity learning outcomes. Participants will engage in professional development and networking through poster sessions, presentations and workshops. This year's keynote speaker is Alma Clayton-Pedersen, an AAC&U Senior Scholar and CEO of Emeritus Consulting Group.

Submit a proposal by Sept. 21 and register by Nov. 1.

We welcome proposals for 50-minute sessions, 20-minute sessions or posters that address:

  • defining diversity learning outcomes specific to a discipline
  • measurement tools for diversity outcomes
  • best-practice examples of instructional/assessment practice to develop diversity learning
  • strategies to use program-based assessment of diversity outcomes to promote institutional advances toward inclusive excellence
