I was born in Texas, grew up in Missouri, and made the long voyage to Kansas to settle. As a little girl, I wrote novels. In college, I majored in theater. My life changes, but my love of story and language stays with me. After completing an MA in ESL at KU, I moved down the road to Manhattan and started teaching at the ELP. I have two daughters and the youngest is a student here at K-State. I hope you love Kansas as much as we do, and have a wonderful experience at Kansas State University.
