Joanne Chapman: Instructor
I grew up in Kansas and graduated from KSU with a major in French and a minor in education. Right away I taught high school French for almost three years. Since then I’ve lived in Washington State longer than anywhere else, with a five year sojourn in Western New York and most recently six years in New York City. I have a master’s degree in TESOL from SUNY Buffalo and another master’s degree in counseling from WSU. I had a career in social services that started out with family crisis counseling and ended up in administration. Then I switched to grant administration, which took me all over the world. I have really loved all the places I’ve lived, and all the jobs I’ve had, and now I’m glad to be back in Kansas! |
