Ryan Cloyd - Teaching Assistant

Though a native Kansan, I grew up in Colorado and returned to Kansas for undergraduate and now graduate school. I was actually born on base at Fort Riley, but only spent a few years here in Manhattan before my family moved to Colorado. I fell in love with K-State campus when I was a high school senior looking into potential colleges and grew to warmly adore the university as a whole during my first few years, taking part in Union Program Council events and getting to know international students through the International Student Center. I've spent a few years teaching abroad and am now back at KSU working on my master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. Right now I'm enjoying the experience of being a GTA in the English Language Program and being able to interact with such a diverse group of teachers and students.   In my free time I'm into sketching, playing the bass, being a member of the KSU anime club as well as the Red Cross, playing video games and reading.
