Janae Haskell - Teaching Assistant

I am a Kansas native. I grew up in Southwest Kansas and lived there most of my life. I moved to Manhattan, KS to attend K-State University. I earned my undergraduate degree at K-State in 2010. I studied Anthropology, History, and Spanish. After graduation I stayed in Manhattan and worked until I decided to join the Second Language Acquisition - TEFL program in K-State's Modern Languages Department. I hope to eventually work and teach English abroad for a period of time before returning to live in the United States. The area of the world that I am most interested in exploring is Latin America, as I have a background in Spanish and love all things having to do with Latin American cultures. Once I am settled in the U.S. again, I hope to work with and teach immigrants trying to adjust to life in a new country.
