I was born and raised in central Illinois. Later, I moved to Chicago where I raised my three sons and lived for over twenty years. It was while working on a tutoring project for my B.A. with adult second language learners in Chicago that I discovered the rewards of working with students from many different cultures. As a result, my path changed again, and I returned to school and earned my M.A. in TESOL. In my free time, I enjoy my family, writing, golfing, bowling, playing on Facebook, and trying to keep up with my three year old 95# Golden Retriever, Kodi. I also enjoy being anywhere on or around the water and love water related activities such as fishing, boating, and water skiing. Life is good and for me it is truly an adventure. Here’s to a productive, successful, and enjoyable learning experience for each of you at KSU!
