I was born and raised in southern California, not too far from Disneyland. After high school, I lived for a couple years in Spain before returning to the United States to start college. After studying electrical engineering for a year and a half while teaching Spanish to pay the rent, I decided that I enjoyed teaching far too much and switched my major to Linguistics. Besides teaching, I also enjoy photography and spending time with my wife and children. I moved to Kansas in August, 2006, and am excited to meet and work with all the international students at K-State.
