SAMPLE ELP COMPLAINT FORM (.pdf)

 

IF YOU THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG AT THE ELP OR IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT

  1. Go to the ELP office manager, Audra, and make an appointment to see one of the counselors. The ELP counselors are Beverley Earles and Leena Chakrabarti. If you prefer to talk to a man, please inform the office manager.

      2. Tell the counselor about your problem. Tell the parts which you want to keep private. (Can we tell other people in the ELP? Who? Which parts of your problem?)

Tell us what you would like us to do.

  • Wait for one or two days. We will try to solve your problem as soon as possible, but sometimes we need to talk to several people. Be patient! We will help you.

 

  • If you are not happy with the solution, make an appointment to see the Director. If she needs to, she will take your problem to the person who is best able to solve it.

If you have a problem, we want to help you. We will listen to you carefully and fairly. We value your opinion. However, if you want to talk to someone else, here are some places you can also go to get help:

 

  • The International Student Center

  • The Counseling Center (at English/Counseling Services) (across from Hale Library)

  • The Office of Student Life (at Holton Hall)
