***These costs include books, supplies, and health insurance. These costs are for a single 15 week semester or single 8 week semester only.

Students can see doctors for free and get routine medical tests and medicines at reasonable prices at Lafene Health Center.  However, for serious medical problems students will need to go to a hospital.  These services are not covered by the campus fee and can be very expensive.  For this reason health insurance is a requirement for international students.  There are different plans available and the student can get information from the Office of International Programs.

International students are required to take a TB test upon arrival the cost is $20.  For more information go to  www.k-state.edu/lafene

Please note - the university does not accept Visa credit cards for payments.  Using a credit card to pay for tuition will result in additional charges from the credit card company, usually between 3-5% of the amount owed.
