Leilei Shen is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics. She received a Bacherlor's degree in Economics and Computer Science from York University, a M.A. in Economics from University of British Columbia and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Toronto.
Leilei's research interests are international trade and health economics. Her current research examines exporting, investment, and product restructuring as a source of productivity gain. She's also working on topics related to institutions, technological change, income distribution, and skill acquisition in international trade and health reforms in China.
Leilei has published in Economics Letters, Health Economics, Policy, and Law, Health Policy, and Healthcare Policy.
