Dr. Heather Luea

Dr. Heather Luea is a lecturer in the economics department. She earned a BA in finance from Fort Hays State University, an MBA from Wichita State University, and a Ph.D. in economics from Kansas State University. Prior to returning to K-State, she lectured at Vanderbilt University and UC, Berkeley.
She has taught extensively across the economics curriculum and currently teaches primarily undergraduate principles courses. Luea's research interests lie in the areas of housing, healthcare, and payday lending. Her work has been published in the Journal of Housing Economics, and Contemporary Economic Policy.
