Kansas State University invites applications for a term position at the rank of either instructor or assistant professor. The appointment will begin at the start of the 2008-2009 academic year, and additional term appointments beyond 2008-2009 may be possible, depending on performance (PhD preferred). M.A. or ABD is required for appointment at the rank of instructor; Ph.D. is required for appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Teaching load will involve three classes per semester with no more than two preparations (9-hour teaching load), with some involvement in the principles course. Primary criterion for selection is evidence of outstanding teaching performance, preferably with experience in large classes. Please send letter of application, vita, evidence of outstanding teaching performance, photocopy of graduate transcript, and arrange to have three recommendation letters sent to Search Committee, Department of Economics, 327 Waters Hall, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66506, fax 785-532-6919.
