Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure-track opening beginning August 2010 at the assistant professor level. Position requires Ph.D. or expected completion by fall 2010. Candidates are expected to provide quality teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, contribute to Department's Ph.D. program, and publish in leading journals. Normal teaching load is 6 hours per semester. Candidates willing to teach microeconomic theory at master's level and a Ph.D. course in labor economics will be given preference. Candidate should have commitment to work with a wide range of constituents and diverse student population. Interested individuals should send letter of application, curriculum vita, brief statement describing research and teaching interests, photocopy of graduate transcripts, sample of recent research, evidence of teaching effectiveness if available, and arrange to have sent at least 3 letters of recommendation to Search Committee, Dept. of Economics, 327 Waters Hall, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66506-4001.
