Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics, Time Series Econometrics, Development and Governance
I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics. My Ph.D. research is in the area of macroeconomics and monetary economics. I investigate the dynamics between government debt and budget deficits in the U.S., and government debt and monetary policy in the U.S. My research interest include macroeconomics and monetary economics, applied time-series econometrics, governance and development.
As a Primary Instructor, I have a diversified teaching portfolio with experience of teaching in the U.S. and Bangladesh.
I was the President of Graduate Students of Economics Association at the department. I also worked as an International Student Welcome Ambassador at K-state.
I like sports, especially cricket. As a citizen of Bangladesh, I am a proud fan of the 'Bengal Tigers' the National Cricket Team of Bangladesh.
I will be at the 2017 ASSA annual meeting in Chicago, January 6-8, 2017.
