Ecological Genomics is...
An emerging field at the interface of ecology, evolution, and genomics that seeks to place the functional significance of genes and genomes into an ecological and evolutionary context.  The Ecological Genomics initiative in Kansas comprises over 30 faculty members from three Kansas universities.

The Symposium will feature lectures by scientists at the forefront of Ecological and Evolutionary Functional Genomics.  Oral and poster presentations on Kansas Ecological Genomics projects will also be included.

Present Your Research
We want to learn about your research, too!  Posters will be presented from 4 to 6 p.m. on October 2.  Poster dimensions are not to exceed 4' w x 3' h.  Please submit poster title with authors and affiliations directly to ECOGEN@ksu.edu before August 31.  Poster presentation topics are not limited to Ecological Genomics.

Saturday Night Banquet...
Is optional and will be held at Frondizi's overlooking Kansas City's Country Club Plaza.  Cost with symposium registration is $40, $55 for non-registered guests.  Transportation will be provided.
