Participation in this program requires the following committment:

 
  1. Teachers will attend training. Sedgwick County E.A.R.T.H. 2007 Teacher Training will be 08/28/08 from 4:00p-5:30p at the Extension Office.
  2. Complete two experiments in each area of air, water, soil, and living resources; complete one experiment in both impact and follow-up, for a total of ten experiments minimum .
  3. Complete teacher and student evaluations of kit and workshop activities .
  4. Return all reusable and unused supplies to kit.
  5. Return kits by June each year; specific date will be noted in a reminder letter sent in the spring.
  6. Reimbursement to E.A.R.T.H. program of up to $500.00 for unreturned or abuse of kit supplies.
  7. Pre-register for spring Workshop by February 1.
  8. Provide transportation and chaperones for students attending spring workshop. (1 adult per group of 10-12 students).
  9. Have tons of fun with this program!
