Register with Disability Support Services

To be eligible for accommodations and services, the student will need to register with DSS. Steps are as follows:

1. Complete an application form, available in the DSS office or online.
2. Provide appropriate documentation of the disability. Documentation guidelines are available to assist the student in knowing what specific information DSS will need to determine appropriate accommodations. Documentation can be dropped off in the DSS office, mailed, or FAXed (contact information on the left)
3. Make an appointment to meet with a DSS staff member. Once DSS has reviewed the documentation, the student and staff member can meet to discuss any accommodations the student may need.

Although a history of receiving accommodations may be helpful, it does not guarantee provisions of the same accommodations at Kansas State University.
