Academic Accommodations

Disability Support Services provides a wide range of accommodations and services to students with documented disabilities. A student with a disability is any student who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major activity such as caring for oneself, performing manual tasks, hearing, speaking, breathing, walking, seeing, learning, or working.

Letters of Accommodations

Upon request, DSS writes letters of accommodations for students to provide to instructors. Letters of accommodations explain that the student has a documented disability and state what academic accommodations are appropriate. Students request letters of accommodations each semester.
