KSUnite Event, Oct. 9, 2018
The KSUnite movement is not just a one-day event. Numerous discussions, events and trainings have occurred on our campuses throughout the year since our first event in 2017. The KSUnite event serves as a annual marker for our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
We marked that commitment once again and invited our university community to participate in the second KSUnite on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Members of the K-State community engaged in facilitated conversations and listened to powerful speeches from student and university leaders centered around inclusive education, reflection and action. Bernard Franklin, vice president of Student Life at Mount St. Mary's University in Baltimore, Maryland, provided a message of inspiration and outlined steps that all K-Staters can take as the community moves forward.
If you were able to attend the second KSUnite, please take a moment to share your experience. Take the survey.
