Student data in the People Directory can be updated by signing in to iSIS or contacting the Registrar's Office. Student information is maintained by the Registrar's Office.
Data on K-State employees — whether student, faculty, or staff — is maintained and updated in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) by the hiring unit's personnel specialist. To update your employee personnel data, contact your unit's personnel specialist. Employees can also view and update their personal information in Employee Self Service in HRIS.
To be listed in the People Directory, personal webpages must be located on K-State's central Unix system on the www-personal.ksu.edu server.
To create a webpage, see Creating Your Own Personal Home Page. Once you've created your webpage on the personal server, it will automatically display in the People Directory.
You can't. To be listed in the People Directory, personal pages must be on the www-personal.k-state.edu server on K-State's central Unix system.
For information about updating your e-mail address, see Can I change my eID in the eID FAQs.
No. The People Directory database only contains e-mail addresses on the university's central e-mail system (those with @ksu.edu and @k-state.edu). All K-Staters should use their eID (central e-mail address) as their primary, advertised address.
