Digital Humanities Center

DHCenter@KSU

Founded in 2014, the Digital Humanities Center at Kansas State University (DHCenter@KSU) is a scholarly initiative developed by the Department of English to explore the application of computing technologies in the study of Anglophone Literature.

DHCenter@KSU brings together faculty and students from across the university to promote humanities teaching and research in the digital environment. In keeping with K-State's mission and status as the first land grant university, DHCenter@KSU facilitates the study of computing in Humanities research and pedagogy by creating and, in collaboration with national and international research partners, supporting digital applications that are not only of significant scholarly importance, but have broad public impact. We have been awarded funding by the National Endowment for the Humanities and Humanities Kansas for our public DH projects.

Much of our work focuses on developing the interdisciplinary relationships and opportunities for creating digital resources and scholarship; you can learn more about some of our sample digital projects on our digital projects page.
