Project Plan

Content Management is the structured management of websites, documents, multi-media and all other types of "content" that is created and used by your organization. Some benefits of Content Management are: easy authoring and publishing of web articles by non-technical people; the ability to use templates to speed up web page creation and to give a consistent look; the automatic elimination of broken web links; better search capabilities of all our documents including web content; workflow to allow authoring, reviewing, publishing steps to be automated; versioning of all types of our content; and the ability to keep our web sites and other content current by use of expiration tracking on all content items.

The Content Management project has been put on hold until the fall of 2005 by upper management in order to allow other projects, which will impact the decisions for this project, to move forward.

Questions about the Content Management project may be directed to the DIA Project Manager.
