Resolving Complaints of Sexual Harassment
Our Policy Prohibiting Sexual Harassment directs people to report allegations of sexual harassment involving individuals in your department to you or to the Office of Affirmative Action. Either way, as department head you will be involved in reviewing these allegations (unless you are the subject of the allegations, you were involved previously in trying to resolve the issues that are now the subject of the sexual harassment complaint, or you cannot be an objective fact finder).
The Office of Affirmative Action has prepared the following materials to assist you if you become involved in the resolution of a complaint of sexual harassment. They were distributed at the Department Heads' Workshop on March 13 and 14, 2000 and are posted here as a resource for you to consult if you become involved in an administrative review of a complaint of sexual harassment.
