Justin Green | Institute Director/Lecturer

Justin is happy to rejoin the K-State in his 20th year of debate experience. As a four year debater at Wake Forest he won the Kentucky Round Robin, UMKC, and North Carolina tournaments and reached the elimination rounds of every major college tournament. He spent the past two years as the Director of Debate at Georgetown where his teams reached elimination rounds at numerous national tournaments including the NDT. His teams have won the Texas High School Championship and finished 5th in the country both in sweepstakes and at CEDA nationals. Justin has taught at several debate institutes including the Wake Forest Debate Workshop, The Towson International Debate Institute, the Washington D.C. Urban Debate League Debate Institue and the World Debate Institute at the University of Vermont. Justin has also been a guest lecturer at the Dartmouth Debate Institute and the Catholic University of America Capital Classic Debate Instittue. Justin believes "winning is fun, but it's not why we dedicate so much time, energy and emotion. We do that because we love debate and the people in it." His passion for arguments range from turning the case, to the economy disad, to biopolitics. There is no argument he would not encourage students to work on.
