Technology Service Center
The Technology Service Center in Computing and Telecommunications Services provides computer and peripheral repair services to the campus community.
Services
- PC and Macintosh maintenance and repair, plus repair of printers, monitors, and peripherals
- Building new, customized desktop PCs and servers
- Warranty repairs and authorized service on Dell, Gateway and Apple Macintosh computers
- Server maintenance and repair (Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003, Novell NetWare)
- Sales and installation of individual parts and software
- PC and printer repairs for the university computing labs and the K-State InfoCommons
- Pick-up and delivery service available for university departments
Rates
For university-owned computers, the standard labor rate is $40 per hour.
For personally owned computers, the labor rate is $55 per hour.
For server maintenance and repair, the charge is $65 per hour.
Staff are available for emergencies outside normal business hours at $90 per hour.

One customer-parking space is located at the south end of East Stadium for CTS customers. The other nearest parking spaces are in the K-State Student Union and West Stadium parking lots.
