President's Commission on Gender Equity

Gender Equity at K-State

The Commission on Gender Equity at K-State is an advisory committee of ~20 members including faculty, students, staff, and one representative from Kansas State Salina Aerospace & Technology. The goal of this commission is to review the roles, needs, and opportunities of our diverse students, faculty and staff at Kansas State University, promoting gender equity for all. We make recommendations to the university president for policy changes as appropriate. An annual meeting is held with the president of Kansas State University to present a report detailing the concerns and recommendations of the commission.

Social Justice/Diversity & Inclusion

The Commission on Gender Equity at K-State is in agreement with the Faculty and USS Senates in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and university-wide diversity and inclusion efforts.
