About
CSSA at KSU
The Chinese Student and Scholars Association (CSSA) is a
non-profit organization at Kansas State University. Those KSU
students, faculties, postdocs, visiting scholars and their family
members coming from People's Republic of China are automatically
eligible for membership. As one of the largest organizations on KSU
campus, CSSA serves as an important vehicle in enhancing mutual
help and affinity among individuals of the local Chinese community.
CSSA also serves as link between the Chinese Students/scholars at
KSU and the Chinese overseas government, Chinese Consulate
General in Chicago. We broadcast the news/messages from the government
to our members and represent Chinese students/scholars at KSU and talk
to the consulate.
As the only one Chinese organization in Manhattan, CSSA also
provide a chance for KSU students and citizens in Manhattan to
acquire a great deal of knowledge about Chinese culture and society
through its annual performance and contact with the local community.
The operating body of CSSA is the CSSA committee, which is
elected each year and consists of volunteer graduate students committed
to serving members of CSSA.
