Welcome to Kansas State University Counseling Services (KSU-CS).

Our purpose is to provide professional counseling assistance to currently enrolled K-State Students. We see students with a wide range of problems from stress, homesickness, career decision-making and relationship problems, to more serious concerns such as eating disorders, trauma, or depression and anxiety disorders. We have found that most students can be helped in 1-8 sessions. When students’ needs are beyond the scope of our services, we will help with referral options.

You have two options to register with Counseling Services:

  • AT THE OFFICE:
You can drop by the office (232 English/Counseling Services Building) in person to provide some basic information (it usually takes only about 10 minutes). Click here for more information about what to expect. Once your have completed the brief paperwork, the receptionist will then assist in scheduling the initial consultation session.
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. We are unable to offer evening appointments at this time.

  • REGISTER ONLINE:
If you wish to make contact via the internet you can complete and submit an online form with your basic information. Once that information is submitted online, you can contact the CS office to schedule an appointment.
IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing an emergency, do not register online! Instead, come directly to Counseling Services at 232 English/Counseling Services Building between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or phone our office during business hours at 785-532-6927 and speak directly with a counselor.
