The Cashiering Section records in the accounting system all deposits and campus receipts. A major function is the collection of tuition and fees from approximately 20,000 students. This section also works with approximately 160 departments in centralizing receipts, accounts receivable records and sales tax reporting. The Cashiers Section issues credit balance refund checks to students each semester and administers electronic deposits of refunds as well.
