TIPP provides options for payment of Tuition and fees up to
four monthly installments. Application form required.
EFT
Provides the option of electronically transferring excess financial aid and/or tuition refunds to a U.S. bank checking account of your choice. A short EFT application saves you standing in line. The funds are sent through the ACH banking system on Wednesday afternoon.
Student Account Release Authorization
The federal law called the Federal Educational Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA) requires that a student’s financial records are private and confidential. The Cashiers Office is required to secure written authorization from the student prior to release of the information contained in these records. We understand that parents, spouses, grandparents, tax preparers and others may need to make payments or discuss various charges on a students account. We will be unable to provide any information until after the student completes and delivers the Information Release Form to the Cashiers Office. This form maybe dropped off in person, mailed or faxed (785) 532-6454. This form must be received by our office BEFORE we can release any information.
Release of Parent Check to Student
Provides the option to have the Parent Plus Loan refund check available for pickup by the student on the Thursday following the disbursement of monies.
Petition for Default Charge Waiver
Default charges are only assessed to accounts that are past due and are done so with the approval of the Kansas Board of Regents. Waiver of the default charge will only be done in the extreme instances where documented proof can be given of an illness, accident, injury or other situation that kept the payment from being made or classes from being adjusted as required. The default waiver form must be completed and submitted to the Default Charge Waiver Committee by fax or mail only.
Tuition and Fees Deferment
Graduate students with a research or teaching assistantship who will be receiving a University paycheck are eligible for a deferment. Additionally, International Students who are waiting for funds from their home country may apply for a deferment.
