Examples of several pages were viewed and discussed. There was some
support for the egg page (a clean page with a central dramatic
photograph, that changes, arranged in an oval pattern with links around
the oval picture). All agreed that the page should be bright and
colorful--lots of purple. There should be an "open" feel to the page
(lots of white space and fluid design/flow). In addition, there was some
discussion about the importance of K-STATE and Kansas State
University (using the letterhead/logo) along with the Wildcat logo.
It was agreed that we would review some additional formats on
THURSDAY, APRIL 6TH (10:00 a.m. in Dole Hall, Conference Room)--in
preparation for the public showing at the scheduled meeting on
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12TH, 3:00 P.M. IN THE UNION, BIG 12 ROOM.
