Web Site Accessibility Meeting Minutes

In attendance: Bagby, Cauble, Corkill, Davis, Epps, Gould, & Rowlett
Training
Nov 19 training session included 18 individuals from campus.
Future sessions being considered include html training. Thanks to
Janelle and Susan for doing such a great job.
Jennifer Foltz has agreed to provide Accessible Pages using Front
Page training on Dec 3 from 8:30-12:00 in Fairchild 202.

Interpretation of the Guidelines
Janelle and hopefully Jane will meet with Cheryl Strecker today at
4 PM to receive the "Official" interpretation of the state policy that
is based on federal and state law. Stay tuned. One of the goals is
to determine which sites fall under the guidelines.
Web Access for All Tools
Janelle is to be commended for putting the Web Access for All
Tools together. Included is a letter from President Wefald,
Summary guidelines, book mark, brochure and training schedule.
Everyone was charged with reading and providing feedback to
Janelle by Friday morning.
Jane - will revise the letter and obtain appropriate signatures & have
funding approved. Jane also will have Deans King and Nichols
review the kit. Tim & students will review the packet and check all
websites. Betsy, Larry, Phyllis, Rebecca & students will review
the packet and checklist for clarity. Nancy will provide training
schedule for December and tentative schedule for January.
Added to the brochure and the checklist will be the
nondiscrimination clause.
The overall goal is to provide Web Access for All Tools to
appropriate individuals before Christmas break. Additional packets
will be available through iTAC.
Janelle will attempt to get the packet to printers by Friday.
Tentative dates to stuff packets will be Thursday or Friday in iTAC
(Dec 6,7). Printing services will be asked to distribute packets.
