Web Accessibility Meeting - November 6
In attendance: Bagby, Bale, Corkill, Epps, Davis, Gould and
Schellhardt
October 30 Web Accessibility Kick-off Event
Over 84 individuals signed up to participate on the listserv.
Probably over 100 attended the Kick-off event. The listserv is up
and running at webaccess@ksu.edu. There are currently 96
individuals on the listserv.
The Web Access for All Kit will include:
- letter from the President/Provost
- checklist with guidelines
- Bookmark
- iTAC training schedule
- Brochure about accessibility
Clarification on Affected Sites
Janelle and Jane will obtain clarification on sites that are impacted
with the University Attorneys.
Training
A train the trainer session has been scheduled for Nov 19 from 1:15-
3:15 in Fairchild 202. Individuals who have been invited include all
of ITAC, K-State Research and Extension individuals, and Orion
team.
Susan and Janelle offered to provide html training. This will be
scheduled after Nov 19.
Rebecca will call the CIS Dept to ask about trainers from this Dept
with xml, accessibility, etc.
