Cat Pack and Software Download Page
to Replace CNS Network Toolkit

The CNS Network Toolkit is in the process of being replaced by the new Cat Pack from the Office of Telecommunications, and a software download page provided by the CNS University Consulting Desk.

  1. Dial-in software for Macintosh and Windows 95. The Cat Pack contains basic Internet-connection software for use with K-State dial-in services on Macintosh and Windows 95 platforms. These programs are: dial-in software, a web browser, a telnet program, and a file-transfer program. For more information, check out the Cat Pack web page.   2. Dial-in software for Windows 3.x plus all Internet-connection software for on-campus offices. For all users who need Internet-connection software using on-campus Ethernet or users who need Windows 3.x dial-in software, a version of the CNS Network Toolkit is available on the PC computers in the university computing labs.
