Libby Vathauer
Short Biography:
I was born and raised in Belleville, KS and graduated from Belleville High School. I attended Cloud County Community College. I moved to Concordia, KS in 1982 and then moved to Manhattan in Aug. 1986. I married my husband, Bob, in 1992. I have two sons from a previous marriage and Bob has 4 children -2 daughters (Stacy and Jenny) - and 2 sons (Jerod and Daniel) from a previous marriage. His two daughters are married and have 4 daughters between the two - we will have an addition in Sept! His two sons are both engaged to be married, so our family continues to grow. My oldest son, Cody, is a junior at KSU majoring in the Athletic Training Program and my youngest, Colton, will be a freshman at KSU this fall majoring in Business.
Brief Work History:
I worked at Cloud County Community College business office for years and started working at KSU in 1986 - in the College of Human Ecology as a Clerk Typist. Since then I have been an Office Asst. IV, Accounting Specialist, Accountant I and currently an Accountant III.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy gardening - planting more than weeding- golfing, lounging in the pool and hanging out in our back yard with family and friends. Have kept very busy in past years with the kids sporting events, so will need find something to occupy our time this winter.
