Peggy Selvidge
Short Biography:
I grew up in Jewell, KS and, upon graduation from high school in 1968, attended Brown Mackie School of Business in Salina, KS. I then came to Manhattan, starting to work at K-State in 1969. I am the youngest of four. My brother is deceased, but I have two sisters who both live in KS. I got divorced after 18 years of marriage. I have a son who goes to college in Santa Maria, CA, a daughter and son-in-law who work in Manhattan, a granddaughter and a step-grandson.
Brief Work History:
I worked in the KSU Student Publications Office from 1969-1971. It was at that time that the position was changed into a half-time position, thus forcing me to find other employment. I began working at the KSU Dept. of Civil Engineering in the Fall of 1971 and I'm still there! I currently hold the position of Administrative Officer.
Personal Interests:
I don't really have pastimes or hobbies I'm pretty much family oriented and love spending time with them. I like camping and fishing, but don't do much of either, due to KS heat and humidity!
