Paula Connors
Short Biography:
I was born and raised in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. After high school, I attended Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) and received my Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration. Several years later, I received another Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In 2000, I went on a retreat and met my husband. I've been happily married since April 2001. I have three step-children and five grandchildren.
Brief Work History:
I began my working career at K-State in April 2001 as Human Resource Specialist for the K-State Student Union. I love my job at the Student Union and plan to be here a long time.
Personal Interests:
I love spending time with my husband (sitting on the porch or enjoying a fire by our fire pit.) On weekends, you might find me at garage sales looking for bargains. I'm very active in my church and have facilitated several Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University classes.
Additional Comments
It's great being back on Classified Senate after taking a break. I have been so impressed with the work that Classified Senate has done in the past few years. I look forward to representing Local Agencies once again.
