Lydia Roberts Barrigan and Amy Twite recognized by the
National Science Foundation

Chemistry Seniors Lydia Roberts Barrigan and Amy Twite were among some 1600 students in all disciplines nationwide who were accorded Honorable Mentions in this year's National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship competition. Lydia, who has been conducting research with Prof. Duy Hua, will begin her Ph.D. studies in Pharmacology next Fall at the University of North Carolina. Amy's research has been carried out in Prof. Dan Higgins' laboratory, and she will begin her graduate studies at the Scripps Research Institute in the Fall. Congratulations to you both!
