The Kansas State University cheer team is a group of selected individuals whose purposes are to represent Kansas State University in a positive light and to perform and entertain audiences. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of this organization.
The Kansas State University cheer program is looking for well-rounded athletes with cheerleading skills and cheerleading ability. The K-State cheer program realizes that not all potential cheer participants have advanced tumbling or advanced stunting skills. Be prepared to take direction and coaching during the tryout process. Do not assume that weakness or lack of skill in any one area will automatically disqualify you as a potential team member. A positive attitude and hard work ethic must be displayed at all times in order to be considered for this privilege.
