Kari Nap from Admissions will explain the general credit transfer process for students taking classes abroad. Profs. Doug Benson and Brad Shaw from the Spanish Dept. will explain the credit transfer process for modern language classes. This Q & A session will help you plan your courses while abroad as well as when you return to K-State.

Theresa Doyle from Lafene Health Center will give a short presentation on ways to prepare for health and safety issues abroad. Students will also be given information about services provided by Lafene Health Center.

Are you excited to be in the U.S. or are you counting the days until you can return to your home country? This workshop is designed for students, scholars, and dependents in their first year in the U.S. who would like to talk about adjusting to this new U.S. culture. Come hear about the normal pattern of adjusting to a new culture. Learn some tips for adjusting. Become aware of resources for you on campus and in the community. Presenters will be Andrew Imbrie Bratawidjaja, Counselor, Counseling Services, and Sara Thurston-González, Director of the International Student and Scholar Services.
