- Lecture: Kinetic Theory Models for Dispersed Multiphase Flows by Rodney Fox. 10:30 a.m., 1029, Durland Hall. Fox is a distinguished professor and Stiles Chair of chemical engineering at Iowa State University. He will discuss kinetic theory models for dispersed multiphase flows. Kinetic theory is a useful theoretical framework for developing CFD models for dispersed multiphase flows. Free and open to the public.

Jahn is a professor in the Laboratory of Genetics and department of agronomy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. - Exhibition: Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War. Hale Library Building Hours, April 29 through June 5, 2nd floor, Hale Library. A traveling exhibition based on one of the same name developed by the National Constitution Center. It aims to encourage visitors to see the Civil War as a test of the U.S. Constitution; to consider Lincoln's options through his own eyes; and to reflect on the significance of that great 19th-century conflict for Americans today.
