2012 K-State Theatre Guild Gala. 6 to 8:30 p.m., At the home garden of John and Sydney Carlin. Hosted by Provost April Mason and Frank Heiliger the evening includes a program by K-State Theatre students and faculty along with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Tickets are $75 per person. RSVP by June 8.

University Gardens Luncheon Seminar: Water Gardening 101. 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Levin home, 11720 Landscape Lane, St. George. Presented by Deb Spencer, from Water's Edge water gardening retailer in Lawrence, the seminar will include a tour of the Levin's water garden. Admission is $30 or $25 for Friends of the Kansas State University Gardens and includes lunch and beverage. Advance paid registration required through email or by calling 785-532-1442. Sponsored by Friends of the Kansas State University Gardens.
Presentation: Stormwater Management. 7 p.m., Pavilion, Sunset Zoo. Enter at the new entry and walk or wheelchair down to the pavilion to learn about two innovative stormwater management projects within the watershed implemented in the last year, which are the Sunset Zoo bio-retention area and the K-State Seaton Hall lower green roof.
