Lecture: Art and Utility by Peter Bodenham. 4:30 p.m., Room 114, Willard Hall. Bodenham is a 3D artist from West Wales and is currently Head of Ceramics Department at Carmarthenshire College of Art. His lecture charts his recent work moving from site-specific installation-based work through to utilitarian objects. Free and open to the public. Lecture: An Overview of Cuba Today by Mabel Matamoros. 4 p.m., Little Theatre, K-State Student Union. Faculty Senate special session: Panel discussion with the President, Provost, and VPAF on aligning faculty and unclassified salaries with 2025. 3 p.m., Banquet Room, Alumni Center. It has been made abundantly clear to us that the ongoing salary situation, which makes it difficult to retain and hire quality individuals, will make achieving 2025 problematic. In an effort to encourage the high prioritization of the alignment of salaries with 2025 we have invited President Schulz, Provost Mason, and Vice President for Administration and Finance, Bruce Shubert to a panel discussion on this topic. The Special Session is designed to jump start a plan for an appropriate adjustment in salaries.
