Shugart Lecture: The Future of Noncommercial Food Service: Trends and Innovations by John Lawn. 1:30 p.m., Forum Hall, K-State Student Union. Lawn is editor-in-chief and associate publisher of Food Management magazine. His lecture will focus on what the future holds for the school cafeteria, college food services, the executive dining room, and other segments of the noncommercial food service industry. Spencer Lecture: Conformal Welding by Donald Marshall. 2:30 p.m., 1018, Throckmorton Hall. Marshall is from the University of Washington. His Lecture will focus on modern applications to conformal welding including recent developments in vision recognition, spectra of certain ODEs, Cauchy transforms of positive measures, trees (graphs), and lemniscates. Free and open to the public. Part of the William J. Spencer Lecture Series in the College of Business Administration.

Workshop: Writing Your Next Chapter: How to Find Your Mojo and Move Forward at Mid-Career by Kerry Ann Rockquemore. 9 a.m. to Noon, Big 12 Room, K-State Student Union.
