- Performance Series: A Chorus Line. 7:30 p.m., McCain Auditorium. In an empty theater, on a bare stage, casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. The film is a documentary and exposé of human trafficking that follows 13- and 14-year-old African-American girls as they are seduced, abused, and sold on New York's streets by pimps; while being treated as adult criminals by police. - Performance Series: Sweet Honey In The Rock. 7:30 p.m., McCain Auditorium. The internationally renowned and Grammy-nominated a cappella ensemble, has been a vital and innovative presence in the music culture of Washington, D.C., and in communities of conscience around the world. Rooted in a deeply held commitment to create music out of the rich textures of African-American traditions, Sweet Honey In The Rock possesses a stunning vocal prowess that captures the complex sounds of blues, spirituals, traditional gospel hymns, rap, reggae, African chants, hip-hop, ancient lullabies and jazz improvisation. Fifty miles from the Somalia/Kenya border is the largest refugee camp in the world currently holding 500,000 refugees. Writer and photographer Rick McNary captures the images and tells the story of the horror and the hope of the international conundrum of the refugee crisis in the Horn of Africa. - Homeschool Tuesdays. 1 to 2:30 p.m., Beach Museum of Art. Held the first and last Tuesday of the month, these free classes are expanded versions of the ARTSmart classes and similar to our school tour offerings. Classes will be split by age so that older children may participate in more challenging discussion and activities. Younger children will participate in games or story time activities.

Fifty miles from the Somalia/Kenya border is the largest refugee camp in the world currently holding 500,000 refugees. Writer and photographer Rick McNary captures the images and tells the story of the horror and the hope of the international conundrum of the refugee crisis in the Horn of Africa. This exhibit gives voice to the issues and strategies of humanitarian agencies that serve to mitigate the crisis. Free and open to the public.
