Conceived as a theatrical performance, Duegaw's "Inadvertent Arson" incorporates painted portraits, props, and sets as surrogates for living actors, three-dimensional objects, and a stage. Action is implied instead of performed, and a dialogue appears in the form of artist-generated text that accompanies each portrait.

- Dan Upson Lecture: Dale Rodman, Kansas Secretary of Agriculture. 7 p.m., Main Ballroom, K-State Student Union. Secretary Rodman will address pertinent issues surrounding the recent drought and how it has affected food production and the agriculture industry's challenge of feeding the world. Furthermore, the impending increase in the cost of food, which affects families from all demographics, will be discussed at length. A Q&A session will follow the lecture. Free and open to the public.
- Film: Nefarious: Merchant of Souls Screening. 7 p.m., Town Hall Room, Leadership Studies Building. Sex slavery is a heart breaking issue of our generation, but unfortunately many people do not know about the horrors of this issue. This documentary takes the audience through the realities of the sex trafficking industry all over the world. There will be people from the organization that created the film to talk afterwards about how to get involved with fighting sex trafficking and putting an end to this modern day slavery.

Schieszer, professor emeritus at University of Central Missouri, is an air safety investigator, safety consultant and expert witness in aviation litigation. He has more than 40 years flying experience and is a nationally known speaker in aviation history. He presented on campus last year about another famous aviator, Amelia Earhart. The vendors at the marketplace are directly involved with the producers throughout the world of the products they sell.

Conceived as a theatrical performance, Duegaw's "Inadvertent Arson" incorporates painted portraits, props, and sets as surrogates for living actors, three-dimensional objects, and a stage. Action is implied instead of performed, and a dialogue appears in the form of artist-generated text that accompanies each portrait.
