In 1879 American artist James McNeill Whistler arrived in Italy with a commission from the Fine Arts Society of London to create twelve etchings of Venice. Homeschool Tuesdays. 1 to 2:30 p.m., Beach Museum of Art. Held the first and last Tuesday of the month, these free classes are expanded versions of the ARTSmart classes and similar to our school tour offerings. Classes will be split by age so that older children may participate in more challenging discussion and activities. Younger children will participate in games or story time activities.
